Stage Door Productions Auditions

We offer a wide range of theatre programming to include three to four main stage and two youth shows per season educational youth theatre camps and classes our annual one act festival competition and more.

Stage door productions auditions.

All are welcome and encouraged to participate in productions. Please prepare and record a 1 one minute monologue and send it along with a headshot resume and the name of the character you are auditioning for and submit it to. Please provide résumé headshot and schedule conflicts at auditions. The stage door main stage season consists of three to four full length plays or musicals.

The community s strong ties to the theater over the last 46 years are what make it a truly unique place and it is the board s sole focus to continue that legacy. Stage door productions shall have the right to produce selected scripts without payment of royalties at any time during a period of 12 months following selection date. If you are called back please be prepared. Musical film or tv scripts will not be selected for production.

There will be a dance audition during callbacks. Auditions must be sent between september 13th to september 19th as video submissions. Any upcoming audition information can be found below. In view of the recommendations made at national and state levels concerning the covid 19 outbreak stage door productions regretfully announces that the upcoming scheduled events will be postponed until 2021.

Prepare a 1 2 minute comedic monologue and 32 bars of sheet music in the style of the show in the appropriate key an accompanist will be provided no tracks or acapella.

I truly enjoyed attending stage door connection s dancer s voice and instant callback master class series because of the open and welcoming environment scott wojcik and stephen purdy created for dancer s who are a little hesitant to sing.
