Ceramic coating stainless headers is the best way to go. Heard that stainless is better for rust resistance and strength whereas ceramic coated is better for heat dissipation and better fitment. What do you use recommend. Also since the heat is staying inside the headers the exhaust gases will be hotter and will flow more remember as air cools it becomes more dense.

Chrome just looks good but is the worst choice. Ceramic coating takes the heat and retains the superior finish. They don t rust so the coating won t flake off like it can on mild steel headers. 5095 chrome bbk 1515 189.

Why use stainless headers mfg inc for ceramic coating. Stainless will radiate more heat into the engine compartment than ceramic coated headers will. Normally precoated ceramic headers cost about twice as much as their uncoated counterparts but that isn t always true. The ceramic actually blocks alot of the heat if they are coated inside and out.
